We’re a family run business. Everyone at Lucy Bee believes in a healthy lifestyle, looking after our environment and the importance of Fair Trade. We have our own individual roles but always seem to end up helping each other and working together.
The team has grown, so I thought I would explain everyone’s roles - although this isn’t everything we do it’s just an outline so you know if you need to get in touch with any of us!
You might already have met me on Instagram or seen me in our beauty and cooking videos. I also work on recipe development.
My dad, Phil is the businessman behind Lucy Bee. He named the company after me as he says I was the driving force behind it - I was diagnosed a coeliac at 18 months old so my mum and dad had to completely change their way of eating and always had to check labels! Eating natural, nourishing foods became the norm in our house and this eventually led to us using coconut oil as a replacement for processed oils.
My mum, Natalie, helps with recipe development and testing and general bits and bobs.
Petrina helps with the business side of things and keeps us on the right track moving forward.
Meg looks after our Facebook page. She’s also great with a camera so has started doing a lot of our photos, YouTube videos and recipe development.
Helena is our baker and in-store demo girl. She also looks after Twitter with Sadika!
Sadika helps with anything arty. She also looks after Twitter with Helena and does in-store demos!
Georgia is our in-house PR girl.
Jim is our IT guy.
We have two Ollies: Ollie S is our cameraman and IT guy and Ollie C helps with new product development.
Edward helps with the business side of things and product development.
Sarah looks after orders and makes sure we have enough products.
My sister, Daisy, has just completed her Masters in Nutrition. Although she is going to get a job somewhere else, she will be helping us with all things nutrition!
Karl, AKA the Lucy Bee personal trainer, keeps us fit and stars in our fitness videos on YouTube.
Sam Hadadi is part of our extended family and writes some amazing, easy-to-read blogs for us and is our go-to girl when we need an informative blog.
Ben works his magic on editing all of our videos.
Rory and his family in the Philippines supply us with our premium quality, cold pressed, raw, organic coconut oil.
The Etherington family provide us with their Direct Micro Expeller pressed raw, organic coconut oil extracted in local villages.
We love working with Winfried from FairTSA. He’s as passionate about Fair Trade as we are and regularly updates us on community projects and how we all are making a difference -that’s you as well through your support when you buy Lucy Bee.
It’s imported into the UK by Brian and his gang and delivered to Cliff and the guys at their UK based BRC Grade A bottling plant.
We’re lucky to have the support of Emma who supplies our recyclable glass bottles, Phil’s easy peel labels, Peter for our green lids and Tony provides our recycled cardboard packaging all consistent with our environmentally friendly ethos.
To ensure our quality standards are maintained, we work with the Food Test Laboratory and the Organic Food Federation and we value our contact with Rachel at the Vegetarian Society, the guys at the Vegan Society and Michelle from Foods Matter.
We couldn’t be without the help of Lisa at the haulage company and Doreen from the warehouse who carefully organise deliveries to our fantastic team of wholesalers and retailers.....Sainsbury’s, Booths, Lakeland, Nutri Centre, Whole Foods, Planet Organic, Amazon, Nature’s Healthbox and many many more!
We have Frontmedia Studio to thank for our artwork and web design, which we’ve recently updated – hope you like it.
Between us all, our aim is to bring you the finest quality, raw, organic coconut oil. We value your ongoing support and love to hear from you. I hope you enjoy using Lucy Bee as much as we do.

We tried Lucy Bee coconut oil as a body moisturiser as recommended by a friend, and what a fantastic product. You need the smallest amount that you rub together in your hands and it turns into the most lovely oil which absorbs into the skin immediately without leaving any residue.
